RAHANA- CHRR member Saeed Haeri has been released on $100,000 bail after 80 days of detention. He was arrested on Dec 20, 2009 along with Shiva Nazarahari and Kouhyar Goudarzi.

According to the CHRR, Saeed Haeri is a student of philosophy in Azad University, Tehran north branch and editor-in-chief of the philosophy group in this campus. During the recent presidential elections, he was a member of the defending citizen’s rights committee in Mehdi Karroubi’s central electoral headquarters.
