RAHANA- Mostafa Tajzadeh was released immediately after June elections and had been in prison ever since.

According to Parleman News, Mostafa Tajzadeh, member of the central councils of two reformist organizations, the Mojahedin of the Islamic Revolution Organization and the Islamic Iran Participation Front, had a very crucial role in increasing the people’s attendance in the presidential election; however, he was arrested immediately after the elections and was accused of strange accusations.

According to several released detainees, Tajzadeh has been involved in very detailed discussions with his interrogators to correct their wrong impressions regarding the reformists’ activities. Previously he had promised to not defend himself in any court until his complaints from Ayatollah Jannati, head of the Guardian Council were heard. Therefore, he did not defend himself in two courts held to hear his charges after the elections and during his detention.

Mostafa Tajzadeh has been in very high spirits at the time of his release.
