RAHANA – Mottahareh Bahrami, who was at first held in ward 209 with Baha’i and media detainees, is currently detained in Evin’s women’s ward.
Bahrami was arrested on Ashura (December 27, 2009), along with her husband, her son and 2 friends. She has been sentenced to death for alleged links to the MKO. The case is currently undergoing the appeal process.
Mohsen and Mehdi Daneshvar are Mottahareh’s husband and her son who were arrested with her, along with a friend of the family called Rayhaneh Haj Ebrahim.
